How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing since I was twelve. I had my two favorite cartoons and though it would be really cool if they joined up (never heard about fanfiction or crossovers at this time). Since I thought that wouldn’t happen, I decided to write it myself! I still have the story (two hand written chapters – double spaced).
Which writers inspire you?
Robert Jordan and Michael and Kathleen Gear (the second writes historical novels that focus on the Native Americans before both Roanoke and Plymouth. Their first book is called “People of the Wolf”).
So, what have you written?
I’ve written the real story behind Rosslyn Chapel (and no it’s not about Knights Templars), and another that deals with the slavery issues in the Caribbean in the 1820s.
What draws you to Superversive writing?
I like happy endings (what can I say?) 🙂
What are you working on at the minute?
I’m working on a novelization of the Great Siege of Malta (and it’s not World War II), I also see it as the last great land battle of the Crusades. It took place in 1565.
Do you read much and if so who are your favorite authors?
For over a year I didn’t write or read because I worked 50 to 60 hours a week. Now that it’s more manageable I’ve been able to start both writing and reading once again. I’ve recently started a grand re-read of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series in time for the amazon TV show to debut next summer (2021).
How can readers discover more about you and your work?
I’m on Amazon (where you can get a hard copy) along with other digital retailers such as Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Odilo, Scribd, and Gardners Extended Retail.
